Primary Care
Family Medicine
University of Mississippi Medical Center's family medicine specialists provide comprehensive health care for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. Our focus is on the health of our patients within the context of their lives and with an emphasis on wellness and disease prevention. The family physician is often a patient's first step into the health care system and, if other specialty services are needed, serves as the patient's care coordinator.
Our team includes family medicine physicians, fellows, residents, nurse practitioners, support staff, and two physicians additionally qualified in sports medicine. Part of the state's only academic medical center, UMMC family medicine has access to a variety of specialists while serving as a medical home for individuals and families.
